I went AFK overnight, at the start of the festival, and was banned about an hour ago...

The point is, I wasn't entering any input, not in the style of a human, or a bot. I'm not sure on these things, but to have a bot, i'm sure it'd have to do something...

interestingly enough, i was talking to a guy i met on gw who hadn't logged in for 2 weeks or more, and tried logging on only to find out he was permanently banned.

he resolved it with anet, who said that is was a computer error/glitch on their side. he was fortunately able to join in on the dragon festivities in time.

hopefully your friend can get this resolved in an expedient manner

My friend didnt go afk for hours in the games, he doesnt have the money to do so and he doesnt care about that title.

It would be really helpful if your friend could provide you the ticket number and you could pass it along to me. As far as I know, we've experienced no computer errors/glitches, and so I'd like to check on that ticket and find out what's up. Thanks.

damn so that is what error 45 is, i kept getting that when i was going afk for the lucky title, thank god it didnt result in a permanent ban though. more than likely anet has some kind of auto bot detection system, and it is mistaking alot of players going afk for bots. just keep sending emails till they unblock ur account, im sure they will eventually.

I got my account banned too. was farming when suddenly i just got booted out of the game and banned. :\

I've contacted them and I'm still waiting for Anet's reply. I'm not gonna sleep until I get some answers!

I was just banned myself. I zoned to Kaineng Center which is apparently "Inappropriate Behavior". Honestly, was someone fired at anet and start to randomly ban people? I'd hope bans are controlled by real people and not machines so this can't be a bug/glitch with the servers.
